Grab a hay bale and stay a while for live bluegrass performances and take home some pumpkin butter and jellies. Open daily from now until October 31st.

Pumpkins, along with apples and berries are available for picking at the Happy Apple Farm. Take a hayride and enjoy some of their freshly-pressed apple cider! Wishing Star Farm
Pick pumpkins right out of the field they grow in during the Fall Festival! From now until October 31st, the farm is opening their patch up to the public for plenty of family fun and picking. Paint pumpkins and dive through the corn bins on your trip. Children will love the pony, train, and hay wagon rides, and playing in the hay. Meet the animals at the petting zoo and play horse shoes on the farm.

Looking for a spooky experience that’s physical and frightening? Climb, crawl, and walk through the Haunted Mines at the Western Museum of Mining! The interactive haunted house experience includes indoor and outdoor portions and scenery based on the history of the American West. Dress appropriately! Attendees must be 13 years of age or older. 

Boo at the Zoo at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo - October 17th - 19th, 24th - 26th, & 31st
Put on your costume and trick-or-treat around Cheyenne Mountain Zoo! Each year, the zoo hands out candy made with sustainable palm oil, which helps protect orangutans out in the wild. 

Emma Crawford Coffin Race & Parade - October 25th
Emma Crawford died in Manitou Springs after traveling to the town seeking a cure for her Tuberculosis. She wished to make the top of Red Mountain her final resting place, and that was where her coffin was left. Years later, her coffin slid down the mountain, and now she is remembered by the town with a celebration each year. Coffins are decorated and displayed in the Emma Crawford Coffin Parade and raced down Main Street.
