Colorado is know for it’s great outdoors, which is home to plenty of wildlife. Seeing animals in their natural habitat is an incredible thing, and one species of sheep is set to make a big appearance shortly. Head to the Garden of the Gods for Bighorn Sheep Day!

The Garden of the Gods will have high-powered telescopes available for guests to view the sheep in action at the Visitor Center Terrace and at an offsite viewing area at the Mesa (a shuttle is available for visitors interested in this location). In addition to to the nature activity, visitors will be able to participate in arts and crafts, guided nature walks on the Perkins Central Garden Trail, see other animals from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Learn about Colorado Springs’ wildlife at several presentations taking place in the Visitor Center Theater throughout the day.
